I also want to give a big shout out to the alumni dancers and twirlers that return as well. You guys really made this homecoming one that will be remember forever. Special thanks to the directors and Principle that made this all possible, you are greatly appreciated. I look forward to next year being even better.

TEXANS BABYYYY !!!

This week the Houston Texans did an outstanding job defeating the Baltimore Ravens with an ending score of 43-13. This the first time in that the Texans are 6-1 in the league. The Texans scored a franchise-best 43 points and had a defense that commanded in the win over the Ravens. We are coming up to a bye week, which gives us some time to rest up and come back strong to defeat the Buffalo Bills. CONGRATULATIONS TEXANS, YOU MAKE YOUR CITY VERYYYYYY PROUD !!!!

GOOOOOO TEXANS DAYYYYY !!!!!!

As we know, the Texans haven't always been the best team in the NFL. The team has done a lot of growing over the years. The Texans have started the season off great with a 4-0 record. They plan on continuing this effort and hard work to get to the Super Bowl this year that will be in New Orleans, Louisiana. Defense also has been wonderful and Matt Schaub has been very health. Texans keep up the good work and make the city of Houston proud !!!!!

Outstanding Staff Member of the Week !!!

Hey guys, I'm Jydonyezzy and this week's outstanding staff member of the week is Ms.Curtis. She graduated from Texas Southern University and University of Houston with an undergraduate major in biology, a double minor in psychology and chemistry, a mater in counseling education and administration, and is soon going to be getting her Doctors degree in education administration in December. She is currently the Dean of Instruction at Jack Yates High. She stated that the best part of her job was that she gets to work with everyone and that she enjoys laughing and playing but, also helping the students. Her goals for this year are making sure the senior are where they need to be and getting them prepared for college, preparing the freshmen and sophomores for test and assuring that the juniors have a good school year. Well, I'd like to thank my guest Ms.Curtis for her participation. Tune in next week for another outstanding member at Jack Yates High School. Until next time, I'm Jydonyezzy. Oh and don't forget to follow me on twitter @Jydonyezzy :) Byeeeeeee
